Students, Parents, Guardians,
I am sure most of you have seen the latest PSD news that on Monday, March 22, high schools will return from spring break in Phase 4. Phase 4 means all students face to face for the remainder of this school year. We will follow a different plan, Centennial will finish Hexter 5 in the current Phase 3 and begin Hexter 6 on Tuesday, April 13 in Phase 4. Throughout this school year we have looked at consistency as a factor for deciding on the phase. That means we have done our best to end a hexter in the phase we started it. We will continue providing a safe school for students and staff to do the work.
The students that apply for a variance for Hexter 6/Phase 4 need to understand that their remote learning mode will look a bit different than during this current hybrid mode/Phase 3. Teachers will be mostly focused on the class in front of them in person, and students in remote will most likely watch a recording of the class. Remote student questions will need to be texted, chatted, or emailed to teacher and will not get an immediate response.
If you have questions about the plan for Hexter 6, please call the front desk 488-4940 and ask for Mike.
Thank you for your support of Centennial High School.
