For every Hexter, Centennial holds a “Stairway Graduation Ceremony” at CHS on the first Friday of the Hexter to recognize the previous Hexter’s graduates. Stairway Graduation is a very important tradition and unique experience at Centennial High School. Each student's family and friends are invited to celebrate the graduates with our entire school community in an intimate ceremony in area beneath the grand staircase. Stairway Graduations are held at 3:00 PM.
2026-2027 Stairway Graduation Dates:
Hexter 1 Graduates: October 2nd
Hexter 2 Graduates: November 13th
Hexter 3 Graduates: January 22nd
Hexter 4 Graduates: March 5th
Hexter 5 Graduates: April 23rd
Hexter 6 Graduates: May 19th *Times may change and two ceremonies, and AM and PM ceremony, may be held depending on the total number of graduates.
Rose Ceremony
Centennial also holds the "traditional" graduation ceremony in May for all of the year's graduates at Centennial. We call this ceremony the “Rose Ceremony” and it is a formal event for our graduates at the Lincoln Center.
The Graduation Rose Ceremony will be May 20, 2027, at 3:00 PM, at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins.
Other important information for seniors is as follows:
- Senior graduation meeting (for all 2026-2027 graduates) is May 5th from 2:00-3:00 PM.
- The last day for the Hexter 6 Seniors is Monday, May 17, 2027.
- Senior Night is May 18, 2027, at 5:30 PM
- All-School Picnic/Celebration is on Friday, May 21 - time TBD
